Too often, we are being asked to pick up the pieces for customers whose Nurse Call systems are no longer supported by their existing supplier.
Unfortunately for some, this can be well before what should be the end of its useful life. As we write this, for example, we are aware of a well-known supplier whose market share and revenue continue to decline and whose losses continue to rise. Is this sustainable? Will they be around in two years to support the products they’re selling today? If not, where does that leave you?
Whether you decide to deal with NCS or not, we strongly recommend you carry out due diligence sufficient to, as much as you can, minimise risk and optimise ROI. If it’s a publicly listed company, it’s easy. However, any organisation should be able to provide you with enough information upon which to make an informed decision.
