Wow, talk about take off with a hiss and a roar.

Jason LongThere just doesn’t seem to be any end in sight to the opportunity for Nurse Call let alone Security and Communications. To be fair, it’s put us under a bit of pressure for the last few months but, I’m pleased to say, the measures we’ve put in place to support our growth initiatives are kicking in nicely. None the least of these is the progressive rollout of our new service software which is already helping improve service levels and back-office processes (such as getting invoices out faster!).

Next week we’re attending Australia Healthcare week. As well as others we attend, it’s a great way to be across emerging trends in healthcare and to get a glimpse of new products and services we think might be of interest to you. As always, anything new we offer would need to be 1/ useful, 2/ fit-for-purpose and 3/ well supported. Being in the business of critical communications, we just need to know it’s going to work and, of course, carry on working. We’ll keep you posted on what we find.

For the last 4 years, we’ve been working in Melbourne consulting and installing systems with NCS NZ team members and Australian subcontractors. We’re at the point now that, later this year, we’ll open our first branch in Australia. As specialists to the aged and healthcare sectors, we’ll be doing there what we do here – Nurse Call, Security, Data and MATV. We’re looking forward to this and the challenges it will bring.
