Specification and Design to Installation
At NCS, we are fully aware of the complexities associated with selecting the right solution across a range of services from Nurse Call, Data, Security (CCTV, Access Control), MATV, Intercom, Wifi and equipment alarms to BMS, electronic care management, electronic medication management and service operation management solutions such as E-Concierge.
While many organisations set out with the best intentions, the results can be disappointing with the implementation of systems which can be hard to use and which do not work together as planned. From our experience, a solution which looks good on paper does not, necessarily, translate well into practice in terms of its day-to-day application.
From consultation and design to installation, integration, commissioning, service and support, NCS is involved with both theory and practical application. We have the hands-on experience to know what works, to know what doesn’t and, importantly, to know what to look for. For this reason, we are, increasingly, being asked to oversee all Nurse Call, Data/Communications and Security systems for our customers in New Zealand and Australia.
Our consulting service, provided by NCS directors Jason Long, Mike Dillon, Scott Duggan and Mike Nilsen, provides high-level briefs and recommendations to help with product selection and design. Where possible and to help protect our client’s investment in technology, we encourage the use of solutions which are scalable and have the flexibility to be enhanced as business needs change.
In terms of Design and Drafting, NCS designs to the brief and works within set client review processes. When ready for tender, if applicable, drawings and specification documentation is submitted for consolidation into the Electrical Engineer’s tender package or other specified documentation.
Full project management of all system rollouts is provided by experienced project managers.
Installation and training is carried out by a team of qualified technicians who have extensive experience working with the main contractor to achieve programmed targets and deadlines.
NCS meets all industry and supplier standards for the products and services it provides. All systems provided by NCS will be commissioned to the certified standard. As experienced integrators, we ensure that systems and technologies work together seamlessly and to specification. Onsite training and site documentation helps our clients optimise their investment in technology and ensures that staff and residents maximise the benefits associated with day-to-day usage.
Ongoing service is provided nationwide by qualified service technicians and strategic partners. Service agreements are available to cover preventative maintenance, regular testing and servicing.
